Goal-setting techniques are used by successful people in all fields. By setting sharp, clearly defined goals, you can measure your progress and continuously motivate yourself to progress toward the vision you have for your ideal work life. You will be able to see forward movement in what might otherwise feel like a long, pointless grind. By setting and taking action toward your goals, you will raise your self-confidence.

In Order to set goals, we need to know a bit more about ourselves. Please refer back to the surveys you did in the personal section of this course. Reflect on your values and goals for your life.
Task
Think about the goals that you have. Watch the short video in My Blueprint called goals setting.
Think about the goals that you have in the next year, 5 years, 10 years. Add at least three goals to your My Blueprint site and be prepared to explain and support your plan for reaching these goals with the following two questions when you complete your exit interview.
1. Which goals from your action plan are most important to you and why?
2. How will achieving your goals help you in life?
